A shallow trough is staying over the Adriatic and it is keeping an unsettled weather.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW wind 6-16, turning late in the day in the North, during the night in a part of the Central Adriatic, to NE and N wind 8-18, in the extreme north of the Adriatic up to 22 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing in the North Adriatic during the night to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Variably cloudy with scattered rain and isolated rain showers with thunder. In the North and in the greater part of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong NE, toward the open sea N, and in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force NE wind. Elsewhere light to moderate SE and SW wind, locally in the morning up to fresh. Sea smooth or slight, in the North and Central Adriatic slight and moderate. Air temperatures with no change or a little lower.
